Many African tribes displayed traditional feather adorned masks that identified their individual tribes in ceremonial battle.
This iconic piece came directly from the imaginative mind of a local artist.
Created from half of a dried gourd, cut with piercing eyes, walling mouth and painted with acrylic paint, alcohol inks, or ink dyes, and affixed with real natural feathers. Piece measures 8“x 7“x 2“, it displays colors of browns, and green, black & white feathers. This novelty creation would certainly bring open conversation among guests.
A very provocative piece to display in game room, den, playroom or the invasive man’s cave.
